America First is, without a doubt, the most dangerous group in America from our perspective. The group is steeped in white supremacy, misogyny and anti-Semitism. It's leader, Nicholas Fuentes, likes to "couch" his group's heinous activities and future plans under the guise of Christian conservatism. That's also code for Christian nationalism, itself rooted in white supremacy. Even worse, the current iteration of the GOP has literally legitimized this group by allowing legislators to appear and speak at its events.
Until Nick Fuentes attended the Unite the Right Rally in 2017, he was a student at Boston University. He claims that he was driven out of the school because of his attendance at a white nationalist event. So be it. He also calls BU's diversity toxic. Unfortunately for Fuentes, the BU student body saw white supremacy as toxic.
Fuentes is the most dangerous man in America running the most dangerous group in America. When they say "America First" what they are actually saying is white only.
Fuentes is in favor of a totally white society. He wants to close the borders permanently to everyone.
He is also a misogynist who believes that women should not have the right to vote. They are here strictly to reproduce and serve men.
Fuentes' rise to prominence came after Unite the Right, which he described as a "tidal wave of white identity," but has also been helped by the praise heaped upon him by Michelle Malkin, a former conservative pundit who has gone full-blown white nationalist.
Fuentes has a loosely organized army of supporters called groypers. They believe they are battling against cultural and demographic changes that are destroying the "true America," a white, Christian nation. In addition to closing the borders, the groypers and America First oppose globalism and liberal values like LGBTQ and transgender rights and promote traditional values like Christianity. From the beginning, they have been very careful to hide their white supremacist beliefs behind the cloak of "Christian conservativism." Many of the groypers are former members of the now-defunct American Identity Movement.
However, as the white supremacist movement embeds itself more and more in the mainstream, it seems Fuentes is less concerned with hiding any of it.
Fuentes is smart enough to hold his AFPAC conference in the same location right around the time of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). The goal of America First is to replace the traditional conservatives of the GOP with right-wing extremists like Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA) and Paul Gosar (R-AZ). They are well on their way to accomplishing their goals as there are plenty of extremists in the pipeline. Holding the conference around the time and in the same location as CPAC allows the GOP extremists to move freely from one venue to another. At one time it would have been the kiss of death for a Republican politician to be associated with an openly white supremacist group. Not anymore. Now it's a badge of honor.
Those in the GOP who do not speak out and do not demand action be taken against their colleagues who support these racist attitudes because of so-called 'party loyalty' are complicit. Nothing about their jobs is about 'party loyalty.' It's about service to this nation and its people.
This year's AFPAC also marked the return of the infamous Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who proudly proclaimed he is the "biggest racist in the country." He spoke to the cheering crowd for forty minutes, rehashing some of his famous stunts, such as forcing inmates to wear pink underwear. His law enforcement career came to an end in 2016 amid controversy and accusations of racial profiling, for which he was eventually convicted by a federal judge. Trump pardoned him, of course. Arpaio admitted at the AFPAC conference that he used racial profiling.
And as if we needed one more extremist running for any office, Arpaio has
decided to run for Mayor of Fountain Hills, Arizona.
We can write tomes about Nick Fuentes and his vitriolic, racist commentary, but the best way to understand what he is all about is to hear it coming from his own mouth.
This is Nick Fuentes. He is a white supremacist anti-Semite. That's not Twitter hyperbole, just a straight-up description. Here he is smilingly denying the Holocaust: pic.twitter.com/qJkhASjW6I

Nick Fuentes insists he has nothing to apologize for after saying the N-word: "I'm just trying to make things cool again ... Who made misogyny cool again? Me. Who made it cool to say that interracial is wrong? Me. And say the N-word? Well, the N-word was always funny, but me." https://t.co/XaNVc2bEaM pic.twitter.com/NFPWguTGqk
